Thanks again for all the great comments! I forgot to mention, if you haven't already checked out the Underdrawings page, you should do so.

Jesus Christ Micah. Your artwork is beautifull, simply like no other. I just can't stop thinking about the amount of work time each freaking page must have, in order to be complete..

Anyways good work! Keet it up!

Your artwork is simply stunning, Micah. The story is hard to judge from now, being only at the beginning, but it's absolutely gorgeous to look at.

OMG!!! Not only did you COMPLETELY surpass yourself with this page but i could look at your "Underdrawings" page all freakin' day!!! THANK YOU!!! :))

Btw, how many pens does it take you to ink a page. I also use Staedler felt tips and goddamn do they ever dry up fast. They cost a freakin' fortune too! I was wondering if there was a better product out there that actually outlasted and overperformed Staedler. Any takers?

Thanks everyone!

Andre: thanks, I dig a lot of your strips! The Special 50th made me laugh a lot.

And Shaman, I find my Staedtler Professional lasts roughly forever as long as I remember to cap it before putting it down.

Also, "Underdrawings" will be updating every so often, as new ones appear, so check back!

I love the drapery on the axe dude, and also his crushed skull.

I sort of feel bad for the armless guy now. He seems kinda... simple. Haha.

I sure will :))

As for the pens, i use the disposable kind. Not the refillable ones. That might be my problem right there cause i always put the tip back on but just using them after a few lines just dries them up. I hate that. I'll go buy the refillable one ;)

Oh yeah, I used to use those ones. The Mars Pigment Liners. You're right, they don't last very long at all. Switch to the Professional... it costs like $18 now (Canadian retail value) with $5 refills, so it's a bit steep, but in my opinion it's worth it.

...or use Microns for a cheaper alternative. My friend uses Microns and he likes them for inkwork. They also come in ridiculously tiny sizes, so if you like thin lines but you don't want to spend tons of money that may be a good way to go.

I'll certainly check all that out at the nearest Wallack's :))
