This year has been pretty unproductive as far as Bone Realm is concerned, but here's page 22. This page has been half-done for like four months now. Brutal. Hopefully I can get the next one up faster than that.

I'm too lazy to repost all the links today. Just look at the top of the page. Ha.

Thanks! I use a Staedtler Mars Professional with a .25mm felt tip. If you're interested in the process you might want to check out the Underdrawings page.

Your pen and ink skills are spectacular. I like the way you seamlessly put in the perfect amount of black white and greys to make the picture work. The amount of detail you put into each picture must take you hours. Is it difficult to put that much detail into your work and still make the drawing recognizable? It seems like if I try to add as much detail the pictures start to blending together and it is real hard to recognize what is going on.
I noticed that your main emphasis is on the characters the background still looks great but it does not have as much detail as the people (skeletons.) I personally wish that someone else would do the backgrounds for me because I would rather work on just my characters.
Another great thing about your story is there are not a lot of words to read which would normally take away from me enjoying and reviewing your artistic abilities. It also makes experience the story on a more personal level. Anyway you are one of my favorite artists at this site.

Thanks for the kind words! I also find backgrounds tedious, but I'm trying to get better at them. Sometimes I draw one background, full page, and then use Photoshop to slide it in behind the characters in the individual panels. That cuts down on the amount of background-drawing and allows me to concentrate on the foreground action. I haven't been around CF for a while, but I notice you have a pretty awesome looking Conan-style comic. Guess I have some reading to do!

I'm happy you enjoy BR. New page posting very soon!

Interesting. Looks like the she-devil has some flesh and blood to her. Or... had.
